We work with 50+ best Insurance Carriers in the US
Be an independent broker is not enough if it can only work with a few insurance carriers. In order to help our clients with their unique situations, we work with more than 50 best insurance carriers in the US. Many of those carriers are A+ rate and founded more than 100 years. There is no one size fit all insurance provider for everyone. Some insurance carriers are suitable for clients with excellent health, non smoking or less risks, some other carriers are suitable for clients with lower standard health, smoking, or more risks. Similiarly, some carriers are good for IUL with uncapped earning, rate lock feature, living benefits, or risk class upgrade program. Some carriers are also good for annuities with high bonus, free withdrawal, or high guarantee rate. We are not a Multi-level Marketing (MLM) Insurance Broker.
Multi-level marketing (MLM) is not a pyramid scheme which is illegal and fraudulent. However, MLM can have many potential disadvantages and risks for clients. One of those are their overemphasis on recruiting agents rather than providing clients with high-quality insurance products and services. This pressure to recruit can lead to aggressive sales tactics and recruitment efforts that may not always be in the client's best interest. Their high agent turnover may also discrupt client-agent relationship as more than 90% may recruits may leave within their first year. This is almost double the quit rate of 50% in their first year for the insurance agent not in MLM system. Especially, the very low compensation structure (3-4 times less for new agents) in MLM companies can create conflicts of interest for agents who may prioritize recruiting and earning commissions over providing clients with the most suitable insurance coverage. Overall, while not all MLM insurance brokers are inherently bad, clients should exercise caution and google to conduct thorough research before engaging with such companies. In addition, most MLM company only represent their main carrier with a couple of other outside carriers. It would make it easy to maintain the training for new recruits, but it's very limited almost like a captive brokers mentioned in #1.

Most Insurance Agents are licensed in only Life but many of them promoted themself as an expert in retirement plaining, wealth or financial advising. However, health insurance is required for Long Term Care (LTC) and Disability which has a very important role for wealth preservation or retirment planning. Especially, the LTC services are extreme expensive and potentially exceeding $100,000 per year in some areas. In 2022, it was estimated that approximately 70% of individuals aged 65 and older would require some form of long-term care services in their lifetime. It can significantly deplete one's savings or retirement funds in a short time if proper planning is not in place. A Life Agent can sell LTC insurance only as a rider which can use a portion of the primary policys's death benefit or cash values. This may be not suitable for many people who need a flexible stand-alone LTC or DI policy that only the Health insurance licensed agent can offer.
